The CNU Engineering Fair was held on the 29th and 30th September this year. The College of

 
Engineering presented an exhibition at four engineering buildings and the Jeongsimhwa International Cultural Center. The College of Engineering planned to help students attain information and to enjoy the fair at the same time. They expected to attract excellent students as well.
    It was help for the second time after its inception last year. The Engineering Fair this year encouraged engineering students to share research and the results of study. In addition, they invited high school students in Daejeon in order to explain engineering and in order to find outstanding students.
    On the first day of the event, there was an opening ceremony and they invited Seo Gyung deok, who is famous for advertising worldwide that Dokdo is Korean territory. They also held a job fair with helpful consulting programs on the same day.
    On the second day of the event, they invited Park Gyung-cheol, the director of Andong Shinsegae hospital. There was an English Golden Bell event in the afternoon. They held sporting events from 9:30
 
AM to 17:30 PM. After the sporting events, they had a closing ceremony and then they gave a wards to students and the best departments. Finally they had an engineering festival in evening in the southern playground.
    On both the first and the second day more than a hundred students exhibited their works. 16 teams participated in the Convergence and Integration Capstone Design Competition. A team called MOUSE, headed by Kim Sang-ki and Park Sung-ho presented a 3D wireless mouse. They made 3D UI by using IMU(inertial measurement unit). Other teams presented their creative work and anyone could test out the exhibits if interested. Other hands-on exhibitions such as the Multidisciplinary Capstone Design Display and Student Searching Club Exposition were popular as well. Also, the CNU Junior Engineering Camp was held for prospective engineering students. 
    20 Engineering departments participated in the fair and lots of students and professors enjoyed various exhibits. Diverging from last year, they prepared special lectures and induced participation of students and because of the thorough preparation the fair was well received by many people.
    The 2010 Engineering fair ended successfully. It was supported by student affairs, the alumni association of the College of Engineering, WCG Works and other organizations. It is expected to be done with informative and enjoyable programs again next year.
