The first person to become a color-image consultant 
    When I was young, my goal was to become a designer, I majored in fashion design at university. I could learn a lot about design and color. Ar thar time, I always thought about how to combine my professional interests and other fields. I was not satisfied with just design. I did not want to do what everyone else was doing. After graduation, I worked as a coordinator and a reporter in a wedding shop to get experience. Then, I worked as a marketer in a cosmetic company, Amore Pacific. When I was there, I had to come up to provide makeup counseling for customers. After spending 7 years there, I made my own company, 'Kim Hyo-jun's color-image consultant office.' I was interested in image consulting, but I thought it was too subjective and had no objective criteria. Therefore, I liked using color in image consulting because it has more objectivity. At the very beginning of my company, there was no such word as 'color-image consultant.' I am the first person to go to the Department of Labor and the Korea research Institute for Vocational Education and Training(KRIVET) to get qualification for being a color-image consultant.

What does a color-image consultant do, exactly? 
    Color-image consultants are people who make images by using the most powerful visual effect, color. We help clients to form their personal image and identity. Therefore, we have to see our clients from an objective Point of view. Consultants have to give scientific and systematic advice. This way people can easily understand, ironically, we also have to have some subjectivity because what we do is to satisfy clients through counseling. We help them find suitable images using color. Color is the most important pan in my image counseling and that is why I am called a color-image consultant. However, I do not only use color to make my clients' image. I also counsel about style, Psychology and behavior to help people find their own image. Our job also involves designing CI(Company Identity) which are images of company. These days, most people decide what to buy based on product design rather than on function. 

Wham or cool? Find your own personal color! 
    If you want to make your image better you have to know who yourself. Everyone has thoughts about whom they really are and who they really want to be. We are here co help people find their own personal color, Personal color is the color he/she is bo구 with. Just as people are born with their own appearance from their parents, Personal color is the color that is granted from your parents when you are born. There are colors that never change such as eye color, hair color and skin tone. When we try to separate kinds of personal color on a spectrum, we can divide them into two different types, warm and cool. People have to know their exact personal color if they want to change their look. The easiest way to find a personal color is through color matching without makeup in a bright place. When doing this, you should wear a white shirt because it is the most androgynous color. When you find your personal color, your face will look nice on that color. You should wear makeup or wear clothing with that color, then you will look much better.

"Looks lead to feelings'" Philosophy o!" Kim Hyo-jin
    I had an impressive experience when doing this. I had a chance to lecture about color in front of blind people. I thought this lecture would not much their heart because they cannot see anything. One day, one of them asked me which color is the best for him. I said, "Yellow looks good on you." He asked a series of questions in order to imagine what kind of yellow. "Is it the yellow of forsythias? Is it the yellow of chick?" I was really shocked by his reaction. I realize that we should not judge people. I think color is equal to sensibility, it makes people to feel. My company's philosophies are "Color with Happiness" and "Image is All." When someone looks nice and feels better by our consulting, we can say we did well. I believe that a change of appearance causes a change of inner being. This is my own philosophy, in other words, looks lead to feelings!

Epilogue
    she has always been chasing the dream of being a famous person and she achieves it by becoming one of the best color-image consultants. Her last world were, "Be brave and follow your dreams! No one can achieve then dream without practice. You should have a lot of experience before choosing your own job." The time with Kim Hyo-jun was wonderful and full of job.
