This movie is based on a true story of a high school student. In this movie, hero, Jjang-gu, grows up in an ordinary family, but he isn't interested in studying. He was such an egoist that he wants to be known as a strong person among his friends, in fact, he is doing his best not to be discouraged by his friends. He is not a strong fighter, bur a great pretender. As he enters a high school he joins the gang, 'Monster' and engaged in violent fights and other trouble. his high school life id like a rollercoaster in the sense that it is full of ups and downs. However, Jjang-gu shows maturity toward his sick father, who is very famous in the village for being a good role-model, a good husband and a good father. Jjang-gu eventually witnesses his father's death. He promises that he will become a good adult, nut a trouble maker. But he finds that is not an easy job.
This movie strongly reminds me of my own high school life, all the all the goodness of my hometown and family. Although this movie failed to gain popularity in the Korean box-office, if you want something that can make you smile and something that remind you of you of your teenage years. I world recommend movie.
