Students who took a cultural subject, 'Self Management' exhibited their work in an UCC contest exhibit. They are Kim Hyung-min(Dept. of Animal Science), Kim Bo-ram(Dept. of Law) Kwak Kyung-jo(Dept. of Account), Kim So-joong(Dept. of Communication), Kim Yoon-ha(Dept. of Linguistics), Kim Ji-min(Dept. of French Language and Literature) and a professor, Park Mi-ryu, advised. They won excellence awards in 'The Story Pictures of Digial Camera' and 'It's Daejeon TV UCC Open-exhibition.'
    They exhibited their work. The title of UCC was 'The most Beautiful Village under Sky(Sky Village)' They received an excellence award with the prize money if half million won.
    The material of submitted UCC work, Sky Village is situated in the Dae-dong, Dong-gu, Daejeon and it is famous as mural village for the first time in Korea. it was originally a poor villiage, but due to Rainbow Project by Daejeon City, it was reconstructed such as painting mural and placing sculptures.
    The Video is about that Daejeon City let local people live their shelter for a long time. Daejeon helped Dae-dong, Munchang-dong and Rusa-dong, so called poor hillside villages, by considering urban rehabilitation. They helped people live in pleasant places without leaving.
    From August to September participants exhibited their works and The Sky Village won prizes out of 145 picture works and out of 31 UCC works. After examiners supervised all the works it was selected as excellence awards on 29th November.
    All the works was displayed ac City Hall station and other major subway stations from 1st to 31th December in order to introduce beautiful scenes of Daejeon City not only Daejeon Citizen but foreign visitors.
