Seolleongtang is Korean ox bone soup. It Is simmered over a period of several house to an entire day to allow the flavor to be gradually extracted from the bones. It repuires a lot of time.
In a fast-paced society slowness is regarded as negative. We ofter prefer things prepared quickly such as fast food, fast driving and even sometimes fast relationships in social situations.
I am concerned that the abundance of fast things can entail risks. Don't we overlook the risks behind them? Especially in fast relationships, we can easily be prejudiced against other due to a shortage of time. I believe we can appreciate others when we know each other for a long time just like how we can appreciate the deep flavor in seolleongtang when it is extracted from bones over a long period of time.
