Chungnam National University (CNU) Center formally opened in University of California, Riverside (UCR). The center will collect information about education, research and administration in the United States and introduce CNU to people in LA. The center hopes to establish a base for international expansion. Professor Hong Ki-min (Dept. of Physics) will be in charge of the program this year.
    In addition, the UCR will specialize in life science related agriculture. 30 CNU students have attended the UCR every year since 2001.
