Useful Tips for CNU

For the new semester in 2018, a lot of freshmen came in Chungnam University. In fact, many freshmen can’t enjoy university life well at first. Because they don’t know much information. And they are first time here so they have any seniors to ask. So many new students come with romantic idea, but they used to have a hard time. So now, I’ll give you some tips for you! They are really useful if you know about them.

The first one is ‘the location of university cafeterias’.

There are three cafeterias in Chungnam university. They are located in Student Hall1, Student Hall2, and Student Hall3. First, the cafeteria located in Student Hall1 has a wide range of menus. It sells snacks, Western food, Korean food and Chinese food. So you can eat whatever you want. It also serves dinner and opens on Saturday. Second, the cafeteria of Student Hall2, Supporting staff of employment, provides Western foods, special meals and so on. Finally, The cafeteria in Student Hall3 is a little bit different from other cafeterias. You can choose some dishes you want to eat and just pay for them. So it’s better to go there with your friends and choose different dishes each other. Then you can eat various foods with your friend.

The second one is ‘the location of university cafes’.

Our university has ‘Young Top’ and ‘99 street’. ‘99 street’s are situated in Student Hall1, Student Hall2 and the library. It is our university’s cafe so the price is really reasonable and the taste is also very good. So many students come to this cafe during free time and study their works. And ‘Young Top’ is located on the second floor on the Student Hall1. It is so spacious that many students visit to study and to do group project. And it’s also cost-effective.

The third one is the ‘shuttle bus’.

Shuttle bus is the bus that runs around the campus for the convenience of students. CNU campus is too wide so the distance between the building and the building is quite long. So I recommend taking shuttle buses. Shuttle buses have 4 routes: a, b, c and d. They start running at 8:30 a.m. and ends running at 6:00 p.m. except lunch time. (usually from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m.) And they go every 10 minutes so you can easily use this shuttle bus if you know the time well. Also, D line is the night shuttle bus so it runs from 7:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. Therefore, I hope you will have a wise college life by referring to the following timetable.
