Do you agree with my opinion? The singer is Bo-ram Park. Today she is a pretty woman, but in the past she was plump. Many people were surprised by her makeover. The key to her makeover was to lose weight.

  She is one example of those people who has successfully lost weight. Like this, a lot of celebrities lost weight successfully. Other celebrities who succeeded in losing weight are So-ra Gang, Lyeonga, Big Bang’s TOP, B1A4’s Sandeul, and so on. Celebrities's successes have prompted more people’s willingness to get a thin and muscular body.     

  There are two reasons why most people focus on losing weight. One reason is that people have a desire to look good. The other reason is health care. In the past, losing weight was only interesting to women, but these days men are also showing more interest in it. There are various ways to lose weight.

   Most food, which can prevent us from getting weight, consists of fruits, snacks made by healthy components, other meal choices that have low calories.

   First, we should look into fruits, which include strawberries, peaches, apples, lemons, tomatoes, melons, oriental melons, and so on.

   Second, snacks include sweet potato, tofu snacks, tofu salad, nuts, Greek yogurt, and banana vinegar.

   Lastly, we can examine menus that work for losing weight. These menus are varied, but involve healthy meal choices. So we will give an example of a typical lose weight menu: Bo-ram Park’s.

  Breakfast : tomato + 1 sweet potato (120~150g) + chicken breast 100g (1 piece) +vegetable (no dressing).

  Lunch : a chicken breast salad + lose weight beverage.

  1. Sleep in a place where there are daily noise such as sound of wind and rain. Proper noise can help people to get deeper sleep. Deep sleep decreases the desire to have food.

  2. Eat food in a relaxing and comfortable place. According to one study by Cornell University, those who have a meal in a silent and cozy place burn up much more calories than those who eat in noisy place.

  3. Enjoy standing up. Standing up burns more calories than sitting down.

  4. Drink water many times in a day. Drinking water satisfies people and increases their base metabolic rate.

 

   Second, we can try some poses for about 40 seconds. These poses take really short time and require on a small amount of room, so we can take pose in our office and class-room.

  1. Chair Pose from yoga

  - Stand with each foot apart from each other about 30 cm.

  - Bend your waist forward.

  - Bend your knees like sitting down on chair with your arms lifted.

  - Keep in this pose about 40 seconds.

  * This pose strengthens your spine, shoulder, and lower body.

  2. Holding objects with your thighs

  - When you are sitting down on the chair in your classroom or office, you gold tiny objects like bottle, mirror, and book.

  - Put those objects between your thighs and keep this pose about 40 seconds with patience.

  * This pose strengthens abdominal muscles and makes your legs beautiful.

  The reason that people decides to lost weight is almost always due to the current social trend, lookism. However, the true purpose of losing weight is to stay in good health. Therefore, if you fail to lose your weight, don’t be disappointed and don't blame yourself. The most important thing we should do in our life is not getting a good body shape but loving the way we are with high self-esteem.
