One red-hot summer day, we met a woman who cooled off from the heat with a big smile. While interviewing, she gave advice to us as a senior. It was an inspiring time. We could get power to start something new and what we want. Also, we could think the direction of lives through interview with her. There is Park Hye-jin who works in an atmosphere of freedom as a freelancer. Here she is!

When I Was Younger...
My School Days
"I chose the design course because I have a talent for drawing and making using my hands but I didn't have specific plan for future. I had only a vague notion of being artist. At the end of the school first year, I took a year off for anxiety about the future and joined a character company. That year was an important period in my life for the better. Although I still had anxiety for future, it was a great motivation for me to do what I can do now."

What She Regrets
"If I had any weakness, it was my attitude that ability is the only thing for social success. It blocked me from experiencing new things, made up myself and widen human relationships. I was a big fish in a small pond. If I could go back to me in the past, I would want to tell her to feel and write a variety of things to give a present which is chance for me which is chance."

Living as a Freelancer
Before Starting Fancy Enterprises
"While early working through receiving requests, I felt worth being used my illust and design at the famous project of big companies. However one day, I felt there is no illust and design of mine. All of things were out of my control and it was for requester. I wanted to find my own style, my own design. I started fancy enterprises to meet my aspiration. I feel happy when my products are praised."

Future at the Point of Presence
"It is important to be the good. Of course it is also important to try one’s best but it is not the first.
