Lose Myself For a Bigger Self

2010 FIFA World Cup fever was great. I cannot forget the moment the whole country filled with a wave of Red Devils. Of those Red Warriors, my favorite soccer player is Park Ji-sung. He is a patient player with humble and faithful characteristics. Although he was not the best soccer prospects in Korea, his endless efforts made today's Park Ji-sung, a world-class soccer player. Therefore, I am a fan if his, and as a fan I often read articles or books about him.
Four years ago, he published his autobiography, Endless Challenge. This book tells his experiences and the process of joining one of the world-class soccer clubs, Manchester United. He once had a breakdown in hit, youth. He was not able to enter a post-secondary clubs, but he did not give up his soccer career and challenged himself to achieve a bigger goal. Though his shooting on the field seemed to hit the net very easily, his shot toward his life goal did not go so easily.
Park's new autobiography, Lose Myself For a Bigger Self, reintroduces his never-ending challenge. The hook is full of invaluable lessons that younger generations have to keep in mind. Even though we do not face the exact same situation as Park did, there art stories of overcoming failure and crisis that may encourage us in our lives.
The equation of succeeding in every field is basically the same, and if you have read a book about a successful person you may well know that. However, becoming a successful person is not as easy as knowing the equation. I hope CNU staff and students read this book and feel the enthusiasm and passion for their own goal as Park Ji-sung does on the ground as well as in his real life.
