Everything has changed. People never put down their masks on their faces and not even able to listen our lectures in classrooms. Our school hallways are deadly silence which recalled me that it was not this quite when I first came to this school. Since the COVID-19 spread all around Korea, we tended to be lost our vitality and feel helplessness, fatigue and weariness. However are we going to feel so negative all this year because of the pandemic? COVID-19 will be eliminated some day and we have to keep moving on and ready for the next steps.

Our 20s won’t wait for your delay. You might find your new interest that you did not think of in past days. In my case it is quite uneasy to go abroad these days, therefore I started looking for travel book and related youtube clips. I also found an exhibition about traveling. Furthermore I started to study foreign language that might help traveling more convenient and easily. I heard that Spanish is the world second-most spoken native language and learning Spanish really helps studying English also. In this way you won’t feel any tedious or weariness through making plans for your close future or working on what you really like most. Perhaps through finding new things in these days might be helpful to your future life and mental health. We know this pandemic makes hard time for us. We can’t just give up everything and do nothing. Yet we still got a lot of time for start something. You can get a part time job to earn allowance for whatever you wanted to have before or get diverse experience that you haven’t go through yet. How about learning something. In my case it was Spanish, however it could be driver license, barrister, cooking, sports or computer etc. In this way it might be less stressful since you are learning what you wanted to know and how to do it and it is easier to get in interest. Moreover you could just walk in the park or our school every day with airpod that your favorite music is playing which might helps you get rid of your worries and stress.

We have to face this crisis and win this game. Yet it depends on your mind and your decisions that you make. You can whether surrender to COVID-19 or overcome this threat and make this critical situation to opportunity. I’m pretty sure that CNU students will face the pandemic and overcome as if nothing was happened. What we dwell on is who we become. memories of my freshman and sophomore years as a reporter and my junior year as the Editor-in-Chief will never be forgotten. I am sure that the Chungdae Post is developing into a treasure that makes CNU ‘worth it!’
