Why Don't You Read , the School Newspaper?

<NO.240 , JUNE , 2012>

    I came across <The Chungdae Post> in the corner of our library. In fact, it did not look very attractive because its cover initially failed to catch my attention. But, I was surprised to find that there were many interesting stories to read. Its content was diverse yet carefully considered. Of all the stories, an article about a beautifully-designed fashion show was particularly interesting. I think many students love this school magazine. But, there are of course some problems: English characters were too small and most of pictures were black-and-white.
    Despite these small issues, one of the overarching strengths of this magazine is its attention to political affairs that affect the student body. In addition, stories about famous people like Kim Seung-won, a make-up artist and a graduate from the Chungnam National University, are informative and inspiring.
    I am sure our students will be motivated after reading successful stories about people who experienced ups and downs during their university days. For that reason, I strongly recommend students to read this school magazine.
