There are my last world for the chungdae Post. Over the past three years, I've met a diverse range of personages in various fields during my interviews. Looking over my interview notebooks recently, I discovered something. My last question in all my interviews was this: 'what piece of advice would you like to give undergraduates?" Whatever their occupations were, all of them wanted to give this common message: "live in the moment and do what you really want to do."
Today, the most important concern for undergraduates might be getting a job after graduation, Preparing for the next stop is not a bad thing. But it can be a problem, if you don't sincerely consider who you are and what you really want to do. Moreover, we are ofter anxious about the future every single minute, in other words, most of us do not seize the day. All interviewees emphasized that there is something that you can do as a university student. Their advice was to focus on doing that right now. They believed that a sincere investment in a genuine interest is the best nourishment for the future; namely because it cultivates your true passion and furnishes you with the determination needed to reach your goals. Without sheer passion and determination, they could not climb the ladder of success.
Thus, to enjoy the present day will safeguard you to the path of success. Too mush meditation will kill your actions. Enjoy your campus life fully, and explore your passions. I'm looking forward to meeting with you in an alumni column of The Chungdae Post in ten or twenty years, For now, it's time to say good bye.
