CNU signed agreements for academic cooperation with De Montfort University(DMU), University of Angers(UA) and Eberhard Karls University Tubingen(EKUT). 
    Jo Chan-rae, President of the office of International Affairs, attended European Association for International Education from September 9th to September 19th and signed accords with DMU and UA. 
    DMU is situated in the centre of Leincester, England. It is a public university and outstanding in the fields of Humanities, Computers and Design. CNU will exchange five students with DMU every year. CNU has been exchanging students with English-speaking countries, Particularly Amerika and Australia. Now it is possible to exchange students with England for the first time.  
    UA is situated in the town of Angers, in western France. It had exchanged two students with our school every year since 2002, but from now on it will be extended from 2 to 10 students. UA has a good reputation for Humanities, Tourism & Management and Engineering so that CNU can exchange our students for English programs. 

 

    Song Yong-ho, President of CNU, received Bernd Engler, President of EKUT, on September 25th and signed agreement un academic cooperation with EKUT. 
    Through this agreement, both schools will exchange professors, students and develop collaborative research programs in many fields. Every year five students will be exempt from paying registration fees and if is expected that there will be a close academic relationship between the Graduate school of Analytical Science and Technology(GRAST) and EKUT. 
    EKUT was established in 1477 and is one of the top national universities in Germany. It is situated in Tubingen, one of the top five educational cities in Germany. It has 17 colleges and 70 departments. Many Nobel Prize winners have graduated from this school. EKUT was the first university to establish a College of Natural Science in 1863 and a Korean degree course in 1979.
