I really enjoyed reading this article. Whenever I see a band on TV, I've always seen only the vocals as the most important part of a band. However, in reading this article, I realized that 1 was completely wrong. Ham Chun-ho argues that all parts of a band are important. The reason why the vocals are the spotlight is that the public wants to see the vocalist and the entereainment companies seek to meet the demands of the public. 
    A month ago, I went to see an indi-concert. Actually, I didn't really enjoy it. However, I could feel the happiness on the faces of band members, I was sure they loved what they were doing. They were performing music that they wanted to perform, not necessarily what the public wanted. I love popular music, but after seeing the indi-band performance, I doubted that popular music was genuine. I am with Ham Chun-ho's thoughts about singers singing songs that come from the bottom of their hearts. 
    I guess hard rock bands Pursue what they want, but I don't like their music. I have tried to enjoy it, but I can't. Perhaps entertainment companies might have caused me to enjoy only popular music.
