The Competition Rate of Scheduled Admission Is increasing Slightly.

    According tro the result of 2012 application for the regular admission procedure, Chungnal National University (CNU) recorded the competition rate average 4.42:1, which is slightly increased compared to 201i's record of 4.35:1.
    CNU had the application period of 2012 school year about group 'Ga' and group 'Na' from December 22 to 27. As a result, total 11,970 students applied for CNU, while the number of student' to be admitted was 2,706. And the competition rate was average 4.42:1.
    In group Ga, 18 students applied for flute in the Department of orchestral music, College of Arts, whose number to be admitted was just one Person. Some departments showed high competitiveness like such as Department of Consumers' Life information, College of Life Science (recorded 17.88:1), Department of Fashion (17.36:1), Department of Food and Nutrition (16.08:1), and Department of Horticultural Science (14,33:1), College of Agriculture & Life Sciences.
    In group Na, 144 students applied for Department of Consumers' Life information to complete for 7 places, which was recorded the highest competition rate (20.57:1). Some departments showed high competitive ness such as Department of Fashion (14:1), Department of Food and Nutrition (11.33:1) and Department of Horticultural Science (10.75:1). This trend is similar to group Ga.
    As time passes, more students are struggling for entering CNU. The competition rate of scheduled admission has positively changed, as reflected in 3.30:1 in 2008, 3.91:1 in 2009, 4.21:1 in 2010 and 4.3.1:1 in 2011.
