<Ahn Chul-soo & Park Kyung-chul Sympathy 2011 Youth Concert in Daejon> was held in Jeongshimhwa International Cultural Center, Chungnam National University at 7:00 P.M, on from 4:00 P.M Ahn Chunl-soo, the director of Seoul National University Graduate School, and famous columnist Park Kyung-chul, who is known as the ‘country doctor,’ delivered lectures focused on Korea’s future and leadership. This concert progressed as a kind of talk show. Kyung-chul, and another by Yoon Yeo-joon.
The concert hall was packed. The topics discussed were very diverse and colorful. The topic ‘what is the leadership of individuality?’ drew much attention. Questions and answers were exchanged in such a way as to seek solutions. Professor Yoon Yeo-joon, who joined as a guest speaker, pointed out stability, hope and sympathy as vital components of leadership, emphasizing both official consciousness and morality are essential. All lectures were finished with a wish that all youth should open their minds to society and do their duties as citizens. The conclusion of this concert was this:”Youth, do your best, now.”
The '2011 Hope Sympathy Youth Concert' has been preceded for three months from 29th June to September in the whole country, in more than 30 cities. Last year, the 'Youth Concert' was held in Kyounghee University May 22th and Busan KBS Hall on 29th, which might encourage this concert to expand nationwide. The Peace Education Institution said, “Because of recently depressing news such as a string of suicides committed by KAIST students, high university tuition problems, continuous unemployment, education issues, inflation of prices, and soon, this year’s concert is planned to give students hope and vision. This concert was made possible solely through donations. All mentors, performance teams, and all members of the cast such as 'Dreaming Youth' gave their talents willingly.
