Most People who are Korean citizens have lived though pressure from the government form the last two years. Middle school students and children, even though they have little knowledge of politics, went out and held their candles up high to demonstrate their rights. However, the police forced them to disperse.
Internet forums have been filled with complaints about Lee Myoung-bak's government. Whether netizens are well-informed about Lee Myoung-bak's policies or not, they blame Lee Myoung-bak's government and only a few agreed. Thc government enforces policies that citizens disapprove of over and over again. The word 'Communication' must be left out of dictionaries that are printed under the Lee Myoung-bak's Government. As a university student, I want to know exactly what democracy is. Does democracy mean just smiling under the control of the government or does it mean conflict against an unfair government?
Consequently, Koreans, including mc, should know that we have the must powerful weapon in democracy: suffrage. Even if the government prohibits political activities, they can't restrict our suffrage because the Korean constitution guarantees it. If the government enforces policies we do not like, we should protect our rights by voting. The future depends on what we do in the present. Hold your sword tight and make Korea right.
