Walking down the roads on campus, you may see a poster, which says 'I'm Goong.' Or perhaps you have seen a yellow bus driving by at night. Or have you received this coupon at some store? We have seen these things since the last fall and heard about a team named I'm Goong, which had won various contests. I'm Goong project seems to influence our campus life and improve our local culture.

Who is making I'm Goong?

    Students who have worked and specialized in many different fields have collaborated on this project. The team I'm Goong is not composed of a fixed group. Students who envision the best possible self and want to participate actively can jon on. Using a 'human resources network' is the key to their work. This system id characterized by spontaneity and enthusiasm.
    They think there should be communication between businesses and students in Goong-ding. In fact, students are the biggest consumers in Goong-ding, and in return the Goong-ding businessmen wish to reward them with financial support.
    I'm Goong members had difficulty in conducting market research at first, because businessmen distrusted them on account of earlier attempts that ended in failure. Many people said they could not do it. However, unlike their first expectation, this project gained some success. I'm Goong earned prizes at many contests and received attention from many organizations. Now, this project is in the media spotlight. "It is the first time that I feel worthwhile since I started driving a bus." a night yellow bus driver said. Every member feels happy and proud of his committee since the project I'm Goong started.

What is made by I'm Goong?

* Coupon / since September
    This coupon is designed to help CNU students who are the major customers in Goong-dong. They started to issue coupons for the benefit if the students.
    If you drink coffee at any participation stores, you will get a coupon. Scratch on the coupon and find other store's name on it. You can use it at other store. Stores cooperate and create symbiotic relationship that allows the stores to prosper together, rather than simply to compete each other.

* Night Bus / since November
    The expansion of the dormitory has allowed more students to live on campus. However, it takes time to travel between the dorm and Goong-dong, and it is not safe to walk at night. Bus service is a good solution to the inconvinience. The bus runs from 18:50 to 00:45. You can take the bus at die designated bus stops. The bus fare is 500 won, which is used for bus operating expenses and performance fund in Goong-dong. It is also good for student's security at night.

* Welcome to I'm Goong Village!
    There were seven street performances from September to December, 2009 and there will be much more. Besides, theme parties are scheduled in March. They are also planning, to launch a 'GIVE CAFE' promotion and to hold free market.
