A student entered CNU law school at the age of 19 in January. He is Lee Seong-jick. He took the school qualification examination and published a book about his studying method at the age of 14. He graduated from Yonsei University in February. Hearing about his life, you may think that he must be genius. However, he has common study skills that everyone already knows and he said keeping to the study schedule is his secret to get a good result. Well, isn't that special? On the other hand, His answers in the following interview indicate that he is quite different from other students at his age. His thoughts and his words were sincere, logical and modest.

CP You are young. Isn't it difficult to students who students who are much older than you?

LEE If people say that someone is young, it sometimes means that someone's intellectual age is younger than their actual age. Well, I think physical age is not important for studying and understanding. I never felt any difficulty just because I'm young."

CP I heard that you donated all the royalties from your book. How did you decide to do that?

LEE It was the first time I have made money. As I'm Christian, my parents suggested that I donate it to several organizations. I accepted it. So there is mo money left, but that's okay.

CP People called you 'English Prodigy.' These days, most of university students feel stressed about learning English. Would you give us some tips to improve English?

LEE Study everyday for yourself rather than rely expensive private language institutes. I suggest you to use tapes and books, which are available at the market. These materials are very good resources to learn English. Practice the audio tapes by repeating after the native speaker's pronunciation and read English books. Someday you will find yourself confident of communicating with a native english speaker.

CP What is the reason that you choose CNU law school?

LEE My first reason for choosing CNU law school is that they specialize in intellectual property rights(IPR). In 2008, legal costs related to IPR rose to the level of 32 tillion,, so its field had great marketability. Despite the marketability, there are not many specialists. So I want to be an expert in this field. Second, I chose CNU law school because of economical reasons. The tuition is reasonable. I don't have to commute long distance, since CNU is very close to my living place, and I can save time and money. Also, I feel comfortable and stable with my family and friends in my hometown.

CP Lastly, have you heard about Goong-dong culture?

LEE A senior told me about Goong-dong. As my hometown is Dacjeon, 1 I used to hang around and go out for lunch in Goong-dong. I expect to enjoy Goong-dong life while I am studying at CNU.
