"Rookie", this word is a term for a person who is in his or her first year of play of their sports or has little or no professional experience. Especially, in order to qualify as a rookie in Major League Baseball, a player has to have had fewer than 130 at bats or 50 inning, pitched in the majors. Rookie is a baseball movie for everyone, but there is a shocking story in the movie. Main character named 'Jimmy Morris' is a real person in the baseball history. Jimmy was dreamed to become a baseball pitcher. However, his father had to get around working for army. So, he couldn't play baseball in the team for long. So, Jimmy gave up his dream for baseball player, but he kept practicing pitching every day. Time slipped by, and he became 42 years old. He became a chemistry teacher, and also an amateur baseball team coach. One day, his disciples in the team pushed him to challenge for the major league. Ar first, he turned down the proposal because of his responsibility for his family and job. However, he challenged selection of major and finally major picked out him because of his powerful fastball that goes over 150 km/h. If he didn't pitch with get ready for his dream, could he go to the major league? The answer is 'NO'. Hie was, able to achieve his goal because he did never give up. We dream a lot, but at the same time we lose our dreams. This movie inspires us to reach for our dreams through this hero's dream. I strongly recommend this movie for dreamers! Now, if you want to realize dream, how about watching this movie as Rookie of your dream?
