Rich dad, Poor dad

A friend of mine recommended ‘Rich Dad, Poor Dad’, saying ‘This book shows how to make money. I want you to read it’. I immediately read the book, and as a result, I could see the difference between the poor and rich, and it changed my way of thinking. These are two main lessons: one is to increase the assets that bring income, another is to work for learning, not for money. Wealth is a matter of how long a person can live. You should look ‘If I stop working today, how many days can I live’. The income from a job has its limit. Therefore, you should increase the assets that bring income so that the money works for you. In addition, a job is a short-term solution for the long-term problem–your life. That is why you should choose the job for learning, not for money. You need to ask yourself, ‘Why I choose this job? Is it for money? Or is it for learning?’For every time you get cash in your hands think about this: if you waste it, you choose the poor. If you pay your debt, you will belong to the middle class. When you invest the cash in your mind and learn how to get more assets, you choose the rich. What would you do? If you want to be a rich, read this book.

If you are one of the Melon user, you might have seen Shaun and his song staying on the chart for a very long time. When I saw it, I was surprised to see someone else than idol staying on the top rank of the Melon chart. This was not the first time, but usually they were all blamed for their music since there were nothing so catchy but, this time there was something different. Well, it’s much of a playback, but I’ve heard his song last week and was really amazed since it was so good. It kept lingering in my ear, and now I have even changed the ring tone. For the ones who haven’t heard his song yet, because of suspicion till now, I would like to recommend this song to you. Actually, there were a lot of controversies of whether this song could be on the top rank or not. But since music is only a matter of personal taste, I can’t tell on any side. The process or way of getting on the 1st place could have been a manipulation, but the first impression when I heard the song was “Wow, I must give it a heart.” It is simply about saying to the lover, that he is coming back to the one after wandering around and saying he needs the one to be complete. You might think ‘oh, it’s another lame love song.’ But the soft voice and the harmony of the guitars are just amazing. The lyric is also so romantic like a poem. “On every road, I always end up finding you. I’m going to go all over the world to find a way to be with you.” To the ones who haven’t heard it yet, I strongly recommend it to you since this is the one to hear on summer night. For the ones who have heard it but just passed, I recommend you to hear it again at 2 a.m. with a beer on your hand. I’m sure this would make you load off your mind and make you so relaxed.

Life of Pi

The movie Life of Pi, released in 2012, was inspired by the original novel Life of Pi, which was written by Yann Martel. It stood head and shoulders above rival films at the box office in 2012. Although at that time its casting and marketing didn’t satisfy cinemagoers, the film was one of the biggest box-office hits in 2012, and it continues to receive positive reviews from movie critics and viewers alike. It won the Best Director, Best Original Score, Best Cinematography, and Best Visual Effects Awards at the 85th Academy Awards, also known as the Oscars. Above all, the excellent script has played an important role, with viewers learning lessons from Pi’s story about wrestling against adversity. The plot is about a boy who ends up marooned on a lifeboat with a tiger. He is a teenage boy who grows up in India. In his childhood, he is a very curious child. One day, he and his parents decide to emigrate to Canada to start a new life. But on their way to Canada, his family encounters a terrible storm, and Pi finds himself the only survivor on a lifeboat. He then realizes that there is a tiger on the boat too, named Richard Parker. Out at sea, he has various fantastic experiences with the tiger, feeling both excitement and fear. Although the film doesn't have an obvious ending, the audience can understand what happened to Pi and how he could survive under such conditions. Recently, the unemployment crisis and a feeling of oppression make some people feel uneasy and bored with everyday life, just as if they were in a movie with Richard Parker. I hope that everyone makes a sensible judgment, plucking up their courage in current difficult situations just as Pi managed to do in the movie.
