On the campus, we observe students navigating through the campus in various ways. Some students walk, and others ride bicycles. Let’s look at how CNU students travel on campus.

 1. Bicycle

 The bicycle is one of the most popular means of transportation. The Chungnam Post interviewed Choi Hyeok Jun,(a sophomore majoring in Consumer Life Information Department) who rides a bicycle every day.

 -When do you ride your bicycle?

 Mostly, I ride my bicycle when I go to school. I can get to school early if I take a shuttle, but I usually use my bicycle.

 -Why did you choose a bicycle as your means of transportation?

 I exercise a little bit by riding a bicycle everyday. I believe that eventually I can lose weight. I ride a bicycle in the rain as well. I will continue riding it in the future.

 2. Kickboard

 Some of you may have ridden a kickboard once. There is a student who travels through CNU campus riding a Kickboard. His name is Lim Jong Sik, (a junior majoring in Army Science).

 -How did you start riding a Kickboard?

 I have a brother in the same club who rides Kickboards. I have often ridden his Kickboard, and I found it very fun. It was especially thrilling when I rode it from dormitory to Jeongsimhwa Hall and when I went down Arirang ridge. So, since then, I have been riding a Kickboard.

 - Why did you choose a kickboard as a means of travel?

 I chose a Kickboard, because it’s easy to carry and maintain. Actually, the biggest reason is that it’s cheap.

 -If you must use other means of transportation, then which one would you choose?

 I haven’t thought about any other means of transportation but if I must, I would choose a bicycle. I will ride one with thick wheels, rather than regular ones.

 3. Skateboard

 This is what catches our eyes, a skate board. Here is a student who enjoys riding a skateboard. He is Kim Su Hyun(a senior majoring in veterinary medicine).

 -Why do you ride a skateboard?

 At first, I wanted to try something new. Just then, a cruiser board was around. So, I started to ride it.

 -What is the charming point of skateboard?

 After I joined the skateboard club, I met new people who have the same hobby like me. So, we fit together. I always learn something new, like riding a skateboard. When I master something new, it feels really good.

 -Have you ever been hurt from riding a skateboard?

 I have been hurt many times. When I was not good at riding, I fell down from the skateboard on the downhill of College of Human Ecology, and my skateboard hit against a track. So, I have many scars. Nevertheless, I still like to learn new skills, and l just love to enjoy the cool breeze.

 -Why would you recommend it to CNU students?

 First, a skateboard is portable, unlike bicycle, and I can take a taxi or a bus with it. When I go to school, I go to the College of Veterinary Medicine by a shuttle bus and I get it off, riding my skateboard. I can carry my skateboard to a store, so the risk of losing it is a lot less.

 We met 3 students who use different means of transportation. How about using various transportations with reference to these students’ transportations? Each means has its own advantages. You can take delight on the way to school.
