What Is 학업UP 상상 Tutoring?
학업UP 상상 tutoring is a cooperation study program where a ‘학업UP tutor’ who is excellent in his or her major teaches a ‘상상 learner’ as a colleague learner and needs help in studying for their major.
Why Do We Need 학업up 상상 Tutoring?
Because cooperative learning between 학업UP tutor and 상상 learners improves learning ability within the major. Also, 학업UP 상상 tutoring introduces and spreads excellent tutoring cases throughout the university. Moreover, it promotes a learning culture in university.
How Is 학업UP 상상 Tutoring Operated?
Tutor and learners must be enrolled students at our school. A total of 15 tutoring teams have been recruited. Each recruited team receives a tutoring scholarship, approximately 300,000 won. Each team is consisted of one ‘학업UP tutor’ and three to six ‘상상 learners’.
There are qualifications required to be members. The ‘학업UP tutor’ should have more than an A0 grade in their major and a recommendation form a professor in their major. The ‘상상 learners’ are selected by the ‘학업UP tutor’. The supporting field must have their major subjects established that semester. Study time is more than once a week (2 hours). More than 8 meetings are held during a semester. Each team will find their own study place or is supported by part of the Institute of Liberal Education.
What Is Support Requirement?
The ‘학업UP tutor’ should submit weekly work journals or final reports in order to receive the 300,000 won tutor scholarship. Also, study consulting will be supported and a certification will be issued.
The ‘상상 learners’ should conduct presentation of their case and they will be issued a certification as well. At the finish, the most excellent ‘학업UP 상상 tutoring’ team can be awarded as the best tutoring team.
What Is the Instruction Involved in Tutoring?
There are 6 things that students need to be aware of. First, students can’t apply for tutoring program overlapping with other programs (like job club, foundation club, CRC, CRT, CNU study club, and so on). If you do, then you cannot join the tutoring team. Second, ‘학업UP tutors’ should submit all entry forms (sign-up sheet, study planner, confirmation letter of major grades, professor’s recommendation, and so on). Third, all members of the tutoring team should attend the 학업UP orientation meeting. If any members don’t attend the orientation, then they are excluded from target for support. Fourth, the ‘학업UP tutor’ should write weekly work journals using the standard format attached with pictures to show their progress. Fifth, the ‘학업UP tutor’ scholarship will be provided after the orientation meeting. Sixth, if members can’t keep going and give up on the tutoring activity, then they should submit statement of reasons and return the tutor scholarship to the university right away. Also, they can be restricted in future applications for future tutoring programs hosted by Institute of Liberal Education.
Are There Any Other Programs?
There is also the CRC, another CNU study club besides the 학업UP tutoring program. It is recommended to participate in these programs if you can. However you should know that you can’t participate in programs overlapping with the 학업UP tutoring program.
