  Nowadays, many students are worrying about paying more expenses for private education in order to get foreign language or IT certificate. Some students who have interests in humanities fields like philosophy or history did not have enough time to study because of their busy schedules. In other words, students are under pressure to study foreign languages and computer skills because of economical and personal reasons. However, CNU is providing free languages and humanities lectures for CNU students. Let's find out about Learning 365 and Humanities 365.

 

   1. What is Learning 365 & Humanities 365?

   To reduce students’ burden, CNU is providing Learning 365 and Humanities 365 classes.

   The Learning 365 is classes for language, IT, and job openings. It provides English, Chinese, and Japanese language courses and QA, as well as multimedia, programming, web editing classes in its IT classes. Also, there is an IT certificate class and a career aptitude test class in Learning 365. All classes are offered with free.

   Humanities 365 is class for humanities. There are 5 There are 5 categories ─philosophy &ideology, literature & classic, art, liberal arts, and general humanities. Most lectures are under 30 minutes long, and it also provides a mobile version, so students can easily enjoy lectures in their spare time. Because it is connected with psychology, economics and even the soft sciences, students who want to study their liberal arts classes in advance may find this class useful.

  

 

 

    2. How To Use

   You can access Learning 365 through the following process. First, log onto the CNU library site(http://library.cnu.ac.kr/) and click e-Resource from the menu. Next, find the Database and click 'Domestic Academic DB.' Finally, click No.6 Learning 365 and then you can get on the Learning 365 site. You don't need to sign up for this class. Just put your library ID and password into the log-in pop-up window, and then you can use it.

   Accessing process to Humanities 365 is the same. Log onto CNU library site(http://library.cnu.ac.kr/), click e-Resource, find the Database and click ‘Domestic Academic DB’. By clicking No.10 Humanities 365, and then you can successfully access the Humanities 365 site. This site also doesn’t need for you to sign up for this class: YourID and password for Humanities 365 is just same asyour CNU portal ID and password.

 

 

  

   3. Reporter’s Comment

   1) First, the most attractive factor of these classes are the free lectures and the fact that it is supported as a mobile service. There are a lot of lectures in here, so having wide options is one of the advantages of Learning 365 and Humanities 365.

   2) However, especially with Learning 365, its site design is too old-fashioned. Nowadays, design is one of the important points for attracting users. In addition, the access process is complicated, and above all, there are not many advertisements for these classes. Thus, students are having a hard time finding and using them. Maybe more advertisements are required for this class.
