The village of the devoted son, romantic alley.
   Maybe, the name of the romantic alley is unfamiliar to you. The name of the village was made by residents and artists. In an effort to change the village environment culturally. Let’'s see the village with me!
   Do you know the boy who takes wild ginseng? He is Ban Hi-un. The name “"devoted son village”" was named after him. He diligently took care of his mom who was seriously ill. One day, a mountain god appeared in his dream, and said “"go to Daeyrong-mountain and cut off a corpse’'s head and put it into the cauldron and boil the corpse’'s head. “"If you act precisely, you will save your mom.”" So, he did as what the mountain god said. Then, the corpse’'s head was changed to wild ginseng. So, he saved his mom.
   Do you see many pictures drawn on a wall? There are many pictures that are still vivid in our memories. This romantic alley doesn’'t only have pictures but also sculptures such as robot, Taekwon-v and etc. Can you take pictures with these lovely things? Please say cheese!
   This romantic alley has another attraction. That is a dam-little library. This library is different from other libraries. First, when entering the library, people must take off their shoes. Second, people who read books can pose as freely as they can. Third, the library has a DVD player and a little cinema, where people can watch movies. Fourth, it has many board games such as Halli Galli, the Da Vinci Code etc, so people can enjoy playing a board game (except on Fridays). Last but not the least, on the first floor, there is a cafe which sells breads and coffee for only 1,000 won, which is relatively inexpensive! The taste is delicious as well. With the aroma of coffee, shall we read a book?

Gongjicheon recreation area.
   Gongjicheon is a good place for dating, in which couples walk together looking at the beautiful landscape. Why don’'t you look around Gongicheon, which has beautiful scenes and various experiences?
   This is the Gongjicheon sculpture park! When you go to this place, there is a sculpture. "Childlike" made by Kim Su-hak. "Landscape" made by Kim Eui-woong, "Fruition" made by Yu Young-gyo , “"Coexistence”" made by Kim Seung-min, ect. There are a total of 29 sculptures. This park is huge. So, I recommend you to run around the park and play a soccer with the children.
   The Gongjicheon recreation area is spacious. So I suggest two things, which are really fun to do in this area. First, rent a bicycle. The rental fee is 3,000 won per 1 hour. You may be happy with riding a bicycle along with soft spring breeze. Also, you can see the grand sight of flowers and trees. Second, riding swan boat is a essential course in this recreation area. The rental fee is 10,000 won per 40 minutes which is good for 4 people. I’'m sure the swan boat will give you unforgettable memories.

   Around Gongjicheon recreation area, there is a memorial hall for Ethiopian veterans who participated in the Korean war. The Memorial Hall is established honor the Ethiopian veterans who sacrificed themselves for peace and freedom during the Korean War. It will be also used as a site of historical records to enhance the importance of national security and freedom for the postwar generation. Why don’'t we visit this memorial hall to experience culture, emotion and to honor Ethiopia’'s soldiers?
