The Science is Developing, and Humans Don’t Need to Take Issue with This Advancement in Scientific Technology

It was in science class in middle school when I first heard of 3D printers. At that time, I was impressed that I could have stuff I want without going out. And a few years later, the technology of 3D printer is rapidly developing. But by developing this technology, also the pros and cons are hotly debated at science conferences. The pros insist the 3D printer will cause more convenient life in human society, but the cons claim the 3D printer will give rise to illegal problems with drugs, copyright violations, and guns.
As a result, I am affirmative on this issue. The reasons are simple. First, it is jump of logic that 3D printer would have an effect on economic circumstances. Even as science has developed, it is impossible for us to produce things in the same way a company manufactures. Above all, this printer is too expensive to be propagated. Second, if the problem is wrong using, we legislate the law of using 3D printer, and establish a department of managing it. “Nothing ventured, nothing gained” is a proverb we should keep in mind. And finally, I think the most important thing to realize is that the problems about 3D printers are not problems of itself; the problems are caused by humans. For example, Alfred Bernhard Nobel, the scientist in Sweden, invented dynamite. He thought it would help a lot of miners, but that bomb’s purpose was changed to a weapon of war for killing. In this case, can we blame Nobel or the dynamite? We have to blame some people using it for weapon. Likewise, we shouldn’t criticise the development of technology. Science is just science.
The famous English scientist, Arthur Eddington said “Science is one thing, wisdom is another. Science is an edged tool, with which men play like children, and cut their own fingers.” I also agree with his words. The development of science is a two edged swords. But we should have a attitude to take on a charge a series of problems. The advance of science isn’t wrong, and we should remember this.

3D Printing, the Infinite Potentiality

Lately, 3D printing has emerged as the next-generation production technology. I have a positive position on this new technology. The first reason is that it has introduced a new paradigm by showing the possibility of producing personalized products. Today, the industry is focused on producing the same products on the large scale so it is hard to create specific, suitable items. However, the personal 3D printer can create required products easily, and many people will be helped. For example, a 3D printing (Oxford Performance Materials established in 2000) is planning to create a skull implant while receiving approval for the possibility to commercialize.
The second reason is that this printer will make it possible for one person to be a manufacture. Without the need for a high work proficiency, individuals can easily produce a designed product. Thus, an individual’s creativity might be a chance to make more money. The bleak world of manufacturing will be enriched by individual beautiful works. Third, by expanding 3D printing, the winds of innovation will blow in product design. This reality is already happening. For instance, a designer in the Netherlands made the a new printing clothing design by 3D printing. In particular, the empty space product has reduced weight and high durability and in this case the 3D printing may be useful, too.
The last reason, I am sure that the printer will create a new manufacturing area. This is not only a new production technology, but also it is likely to emerging as another typhoon of global manufacturing. Until now, it is used in limited area, but when we view in the long future, the production of personalized work will gradually help you a lot. 3D printers are beginning just now and they are not widely spreaded yet. One by one, jumping over the next mountain, when spreading gets activated, man will open the door to a new world. We need to focus on the advantages that 3D printers has, and try to make the best use of them.
