   1. What Is the Work of the Ambassador for CNU?
CNU Ambassadors Do many kinds of works. First, we introduce CNU’s campus to outsiders such as middle and high school students, ordinary people, and foreign visitors. When they come to CNU, the ambassadors ride on the bus with them, go around the campus and explain buildings, sculptures, and their meanings. Second, we participate in school events. We work as staff and help the management of events including the entrance and graduation ceremonies. Third, we pose for pictures and take pictures for the school. We make all the photos and videos to use as promotions. Also, we are the main characters of these materials. We have to smile all day and
save photos in countless numbers.

   2. What Is the Name of Your Organization?
Our name is Backma-nuri, which is a compound word formed from the words “Backma” and “Nuri.” Backma means CNU and Nuri refers to the world, which is a pure Korean word. Its whole meaning is that we want to spread the spirit of CNU. We are composed of four male students and six female students. One of the male students is a foreigner and he works to make communication easier with foreign visitors.

   3. What Do You Do as an Ambassador in the Past and the Present?
When I was a freshman, senior ambassadors looked good and respectable. So I studied hard to support them. I memorized all the information about CNU, including such details as how many colleges and departments are in CNU. Also, I made my own rap about CNU and did it in the presence of professor interviewers. Other ambassadors learned and sang the school song that they had never heard before. After we were chosen to be ambassadors, we started to run CNU promotions. We met once a week and discussed our activities and the progress of our work. We always come up with new interesting ideas.

   4. What Does Being an Ambassador Mean to You?
It is just itself, the love of CNU. Because I love the school, I do my best to support it. Without it, I wouldn’t be here. Also, it is an opportunity to give me a sense of responsibility and help me grow up. As I am the leader of the ambassadors and I am a face of CNU’s students, I feel responsible for our duties. Although it is sometimes difficult, it makes me grow up in the right direction. I think it is a good fortune in my life.

   5. To the Student of CNU?
I think that the value of a school is determined by students’ love for it. Thus, fellow students should love our school and try to develop it. Also, we need to know more details about CNU. Do you know what the sculpture of the main gate means? It stands for a pen. It connotes students’ passion of studying and their hope to achieve goals. If we don’t give attention to CNU, who will? If we do, however, it will make CNU global, leading us into the 21st century. Let’s do it together!
