"We should not discriminate against homosexuals because of their differences."

Recently in Korea, a big issue on legalizing homosexual marriage has come to the fore because of one special couple, Kim-JoGwangsoo and his lifelong partner. Homosexual marriage has spread out to certain countries through all around the world. We in Korea should respect homosexual marriage.
First of all, all people have the rights to choose and live. We are living in a world of democracy. It applies to homosexual couples, too. They have their choice and freedom in selecting their mates. Even though we might feel uncomfortable and awkward when seeing those couples, it still doesn’t affect every part of our lives.
Second, there is only a minority of homosexuals in the world. Those people, who disagree with homosexual marriage, are concerned about the pregnancy rate and reproductive problems. If so, people practicing celibacy must be accused, too. Back to the point, I would like to assert again that there is minority of homosexual people and the pregnancy rate will not be affected by them.
Lastly, homosexuality is one type of love. Love, the word itself, is a very noble and unconstrained emotion. It will be too paradoxical, if we oppose the homosexual marriage. What if we criminalize this? The result is obvious. “A marriage without love and passion.”
In conclusion, as I mentioned, I agree with homosexual marriage. We must respect civil liberties, the free will to choose, and the right to pursue one’s happiness. The world is changing and moving fast, we should not stay and keep on conservative position. We should not discriminate against people because of their differences.

"Homosexuality is their innate trait."

Humans have their own defining traits. You can’t call me a man who has curly hair and a bright smile instead of my name. What you can do is to call me by my defined name. It’s because it is just our habit. Love, the most precious emotion, is defined as our tendency as heterosexual, being normal and ideal, and on homosexual, being abnormal and odd. When it comes to love, however, I oppose this one-sided perspective.
The first reason I support homosexual love is that it is their freewill to love. The fact we were born with breath is blessed itself. No one dares to regulate such a blessing as one’s freedom. Besides, except for several conservative countries, it’s common to go out with a lover regardless of the lover’s gender. Moreover, the biases against homosexuals are based on baseless prejudices. It has been believed without any concrete evidences that homosexuals have caused some fatal diseases such as HIV. Rather, recent studies have revealed that those diseases could have been developed by tropical deforestation and there isn’t a correlation between HIV and such fatal illness. This means we have haunted and discriminated against homosexuals with groundless prejudices.
Whether a person is homosexual or not, they are also human. It means they have to be treated as human beings with rights and freedoms for themselves. About 600 years ago, it was odd to say the Earth is round. However, no one says the Earth is flat at present. It has become natural that the Earth is round. Who knows if homosexuals will be the round Earth?
