DreamisM passed the ““Dream Challenger”” which is organized by Korea Student Aid Foundation. It consists of Seo Dae-young, Seon Byong-hoon, and Choi Hyun-bin, the team leader. They are a team of magicians who want to bring magic to the world. To accomplish their dream, they took the first step of opening a large magic concert. Let’s meet them.

We are in different majors, we are different ages, and we have different characteristics. We just need to perform magic. We interact well and it was possible because we were together.

 Founding of DreamisM

DreamisM is a team, consisting of three people, who come together for the purpose of performing magic especially in Korea. The history of Magic in Korea is so short that there has been a little interest in it. As a result, there are no magic museums and there are very few magicians. Although the Korean capability of performing magic is more brilliant than any other country, there are few people who enjoy magic. We were all sad about this situation, so we decided to go abroad to learn more about magic. Magic is a form of communication and communication is always good for people.

 Applied to ““Dream Challenger””

To accomplish the goal of going abroad, we applied for the program which was recommended by Korea Student Aid Foundation. This program was enough for us to make the dream come true. While trying to obtain support of the Korean Student Aid Foundation, we performed on the streets of Chungnam National University for our peers. In the process, we drew accustomed to performing on the streets.

 Help from Other People

Hong Jun-pyo is the person who helped us. He is an assistant to Lee Eun-gyul who is one of Korean’s famous magicians. As we called for help from Lee Eun-gyul, Hong Jun-pyo helped us instead of him. He gave us a lot of advice, and it made us strong and our plan more concrete. Also, the magician whom we met on the subway in France helped a lot as well. He invited us to a magicians’club which is off-limits to other citizens. This club was for pro masters! We were connected to many magicians and learned the characteristics of magic of France. Furthemore, we received a lot of help from our friends in Chungnam National University. We thank all who helped us.

What I Gained from Doing Magic

Performing magic changed our personalities. We owe magic, so we are living with magic, and it is just a part of our daily lives.

 Our Future Goal

We want to change peoples’stereotype. We are performing magic not just to make a living but because it is fun. We want people to recognize this, and we will do our best to communicate this philosophy while planning and performing more magic ourselves.

 To Students

There is a saying: a good beginning is half the battle. It is difficult to start, but sutdents should do what they reallywant to do. When we knew there was ““Dream Challenger,”” we applied and we passed. It is like Lotto. You’re closer to winning if you actually play! Friends! Run to find out what you want! If you finds, just start no matter what it is.
